The solid PUR adhesive, which is wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed in the tank. There the glue is melted gently and as needed.
Under the tank is a glue reservoir. A maximum quantity of 0.7kg liquid glue is stored there.
From there, the adhesive is conveyed with a gear pump via a FE-MA-TECH® hot glue hose through an application head (heated valve) into the application devices (IMA, Homag, etc.).
The system is completely airtight. Thus, if used correctly, the adhesive can remain in the system for several months.
